Health and Family Welfare

i) To aware/assist adequate,qualitative,preventive & curative health care to people of the State.
ii) To aware/assist health care services to all particularly to the disadvantaged groups like schedules tribes , scheduled castes, backward and minority clauses.
iii) To help , provide, affordable quality healthcare to the people of the state , not only through the allopathic system of medicine but also through the homeopathic and ayurvedic systems.
iv) To provide/ensure greater access to primary healthcare by bringing medical institutions as close to the people as possible or through mobile medical health units, particularly, in the underserved and backward areas.
v) To eliminate disease like Polio and Leprosy from the state and prevent as well as control other communicable disease.
vi) To reduce maternal,infant and neo-natal mortality rates.
vii) To aware / assist to the people of state free treatment (including free medicines) for certain major communicable disease.
viii) To open, found, establish, promote, set-up , run, maintain, assist, finance, support and /or aid or help in the setting and /or maintaining and /or running medical college and hospital, pharmacy college, nursing college, charitable dispensaries, pathological center, maternity homes, women and child welfare centers, convalescent homes, physical training centers, gymnasium, sanatoriums , hostel and others similar institutions or centers for rendering or providing medical relief and /or aid to the suffering humanities or for research center and institution for promotion of research and education for medical science including surgery.
ix) To open charitable dispensaries , first-aid centers, blood-donation camp, free eye-checkup camp from time to time and to generate awareness amongst the people suffering from thalassemia, cancer, HIV AIDS, etc. and other serious disease;
x) To provide / arrange / aware / manage/ maintain for some common investigations such as blood,urine,sputum,Xray,pathological laboratory and Allopathic , Homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani/Herbal , Psychotherapy etc. Dispensary/Clinic.
xi) To create awareness about HIV / AIDs/ STD etc. and to accelerate the HIV/AIDs/STD etc. campaign and run Health centers for victims of HIV/AIDs/STD etc.
